Norecopa recently launched new database called 3R Guide
Author: Sherry Ward, AltTox
Norecopa, in collaboration with the US Animal Welfare Information Center, has produced a new database called 3R Guide. It is designed to be a “first stop” for researchers and others who need an overview of guidelines, information centres, journals, email discussion lists, regulations and policies to help them comply with the principles of the 3Rs.
3R Guide: http://www.3RGuide.info
All entries have been indexed by Type (e.g. guidelines), Category (e.g. anaesthesia), 3R Relevance (e.g. Refinement), and can also be searched using free text.
Searches in 3R Guide also return automatically hits in Norecopa’s other two databases: NORINA (products that can replace or supplement animal use in education and training) and TextBase (textbooks and other literature within lab animal science and other relevant fields).
Norecopa welcomes feedback and suggestions for new entries in 3R Guide. Comments may be sent to Adrian Smith (firstname.lastname@example.org).
