U.S. Strategy and Roadmap for Implementing 21st Century Toxicity Testing Approaches

The focus of the September 27 meeting of the Scientific Advisory Committee on Alternative Toxicological Methods (SACATM) will be topics related to the development of a U.S. strategy and roadmap for implementing 21st century toxicity testing approaches. Background material and specific questions to be discussed by SACATM are included in an “In the Spotlight” article posted August 25 on AltTox.org.

The SACATM meeting will be held in the Rodbell Auditorium at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, and will be webcast. A preliminary agenda, meeting materials, and registration information are available on the National Toxicology Program website. Comments from the public on agenda topics are welcomed. Register to attend in person and to make oral comments by September 20; written comments should be submitted by September 13.
