Contributor: Marilyn Matevia, HSUS

A news item in the Triangle Business Journal announces that the Hamner Institutes for Health Sciences has closed. The article notes that a local health consulting company, SciMetrika, has acquired the assets of one Hamner division, the Institute for Chemical Safety Sciences (ICSS), and will “house” these in ScitoVation, “a wholly owned subsidiary.” According to the article, ScitoVation also “brought on 29 of the former Hamner division staff, including Rebecca Clewell, now the chief scientific officer for ScitoVation.”
