ICCVAM to Hold Public Forum May 25

Contributor: Catherine Sprankle, NICEATM

ICCVAM will hold a public forum on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, from 9:00 a.m. to approximately 4:00 p.m. at the National Institutes of Health Natcher Conference Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Representatives of the federal agencies on ICCVAM will be present to hear ideas and suggestions from interested stakeholders and the public.

The meeting will begin with presentations by NICEATM and ICCVAM members on current activities related to the development and validation of alternative test methods and approaches. Following each presentation, time will be set aside for attendees to ask questions. The agenda will also time for attendees to make public oral statements on topics relevant to the ICCVAM mission and current ICCVAM activities.

Interested persons can attend the meeting in person or view it remotely via webcast. Stakeholders wishing to make a public statement are encouraged to attend in person to enable face-to-face dialog with ICCVAM members. For planning purposes, those intending to attend in person are encouraged to register by May 13. Registration is required to view the webcast and will be open until the meeting begins.

More information and links to registration forms are available on the NICEATM website.
