The overall goal of this procurement is to accelerate the development and use of in vitro test methods, conducted in a human relevant cell system, capable of cost and time efficient testing of chemicals for the potential to disrupt the development of the nervous system i.e. prediction of neurodevelopment hazards to human health. This work shall be conducted in 2 phases. The first phase will focus on the development of the test systems, generation of data using relevant chemicals for validation purposes, and the design and employment of data analysis tools. The second phase will include: the development of data interpretation and use guidance, descriptions of possible application domains, and case studies of data use in an IATA context.
